Considerations
- SSL can't be added to an existing site.
- The resource must be purshased before being able to create an SSL enabled SharePoint site.
Purchasing SSL for Sharepoint
1. Log into the control panel, https://cp.emmcloud.com .
2. Select the subscription. Click "Next".
3. Switch the dropbox next to "Sharepoint 2010 SSL & Personalized URL" to "On".

4. Click "Next".
5. Review Your order. Click "Place Order".
6. It should take a couple minutes to proccess the order.
Generating a CSR
- A Certificat Singing Request is required to purshase a certificate.
- If using a split domain <sub>.emmcloud.com,
all authorization emails must be sent to enom_domains@exchangemymail.com for our approval.
1. Log into the control panel, https://cp.emmcloud.com
2. Click the "Account" Tab.
3. Click "Account Settings".

4. Click the "More Tools" button.

5. Click "SSL Certificates".

6. Click "Create Certificate Signing Request".

7. Fill out the form.
- Bits: Most certificate providers won't allow anything under 2048.
- Common Name: The domain the certificate will be used for. Example: sharepoint.emmcloud.com

8. Click "Next"
9. Click "Download" and save both the Certificate signing request and Private key signing request.
10. Leave "Store Private key repository" checked if you wish for EMMcloud to keep a backup copy of your private key.

11. Click "Close".
Creating an SSL Enabled Site
Make sure to purchase the certificate before following this process. Refer to "Generating a CSR"
1. Log into the control panel, https://cp.emmcloud.com
2. Click the "Sharepoint" Tab.
3. Click "Add New Site"
4. Select the domain from the dropdown box.
5. Click "Next"
6. Choose "Existing Service User" to select the default administrator. Otherwise the "New Service User" option will start the creation wizard after clicking "Next".
7. Select the serive user. Click "Next". If creating a new service user, type in the Display Name, Login, Password, and select a domain. Click "Next".
8. Select "Exclusive". Click "Next"

9. Here you can select a template or leave it as is to select one at first login.
10. Type in the size of site's storage in the "Storage quota" field. Click "Next".
11. Select a role for existing users. If no users exist at the moment, role select will be absent. Click "Next".

12. Verify the settings and click "Finnish".
13. Click the site name.
14. Click "Edit".
15. Change the "IP Address type" to "New Exclusive IP".

16. Make note of the IP Address. This will be the A record for the site. If we do not host your DNS, please change the A record manually. Your DNS host should be able to walk you threw their control panel or do it for you.
17. Click on the "SSL" section.

18. Click "Install Certificate and Enable SSL".
19. Select "Clipboard". Click "Next".
20. Paste the Certificate and Private Key in the corresponding fields. Click "Next".

21. Verify certificate information. Click "Finish".

22. It can take 10 - 15 minutes for the site to sync and be available in https://.
